If we work together, part of my onboarding process for new clients is ensuring that your books are up-to-date and clean.
I do this clean-up at a discounted rate as a new client incentive, and this way we know that everything is the way it should be moving forward allowing for a more streamlined and smooth month-to-month flow.

Not necessarily, but if we work together on a monthly basis you will need it. If you aren’t currently using a software I will set it up for you.
My preferred softwares are QuickBooks Online and Xero. Billing can be done directly to you or have the fee added to my monthly fee as reimbursement.

During onboarding, I will request online accountant access to banks, credit cards, PayPal, Stripe, and other platforms that I will need to see statements and reports from.
Almost all of these platforms allow for read-only accountant access, meaning I’ll have my own username/password, and you can ensure your data is secure and I can only view the information that is needed.
Why do I request this?
I love efficiency and want to respect your time. When I have access, I won’t need to bother you every month just to ask for documents, reports, and statements - I can just access them ourselves. -
Once everything is set-up, I will begin the monthly bookkeeping.
At the end of each month, everything will have been categorized.
In your client portal, you’ll receive any questions or clarifications I need to ensure everything is categorized correctly.
Once I receive your answers, I will reconcile your books (i.e. ensure that everything in the software aligns with bank statements, etc.) and send you a monthly financial reports.
Come tax season, everything will be set and ready to go.
